THE ORPHAN IN A HOME
In Ghana, most orphaned children are as a result of AIDS and abandonment. Moreover, with rampant poverty these orphans can't care for themselves. Old people well over 65 years are often to care for them, these two are helpless. Street kids are equally vulnerable children who are also unable to meet their basic needs, feeding, shelter, medical care, sanitary towels (for older girls) and even company.
Most orphans and vulnerable children fail to continue with education because they can't afford scholastic materials such as uniforms, books, pens, pencils, feeding and other necessities in life.
Have you ever imagined growing up without a mom or dad? Or facing life alone on the streets without food to eat?
These are the harsh realities that orphans and street kids are facing today.
Kids for Christ International, with support from you, will give hope to these orphans and relevance to life. Feed them, not only with any food but a balanced diet that gives them resistance to diseases. Also to find them shelters where possible to give them a belonging. Responding to their ailments/sickness through medical care and counseling them. In deed our organization has come to actualize them to their situations so they they are able to overcome them.
"HOPE DIFFERED MAKES THE HEART SICK, BUT A DREAM FULFILLED IS A TREE OF LIFE" (Proverbs 13:12)
There are so many opportunities to care for the needs of waiting orphans and much good to come of it.
